New album "Blue"

Mostly Other People Do the Killing will be releasing their next album, "Blue" on October 14!
We will be performing live on October 15 at Shapeshifter in Brooklyn with the 7-piece version of the band, and again November 9 at the Cornelia St Cafe with the quartet.  We will be performing new compositions by Moppa at both gigs.  Even though we're celebrating the release of "Blue", we won't be playing any of the music from that album live, for hopefully obvious reasons.

MOPDtK Summer 2013

Mostly Other People Do the Killing will be performing twice at the Pietz festival outside Berlin, Germany on June 8 and 9!  Then we will be in Bolzano, Italy (June 28), Innsbruck, Maribor, Lugano, and Vigo, Spain.  Hope to see you there!

on friday, february 10, jon lundbom and big V chord will be performing 2 sets at the brooklyn lyceum on 4th ave. in park slope. the show starts at 8 and will feature the quintet performing some new compositions and classic hits!

Summer fun!

hey all,

thanks to everyone in europe and the u.s. who came out to our shows during the summer tour. we had a great time. our performance at the upcoming red hook jazz festival has been cancelled, so if you see info on that, the deal is we will be playing the early set at zebulon that night. so, no red hook jazz fest on september 18, but come see us at zebulon in brooklyn at 8:30!

Hot Cup Festival at University of the Streets!

on december 19 and 20, university of the streets will be hosting a Hot Cup Records Festival. the series was curated by sam kulik. on december 19 at 8 PM, Mostly Other People Do the Killing will be performing. on december 20, the Charles Evans/Neil Shah duo will perform at 8 PM followed by the Jon Irabagon Trio featuring Barry Altschul at 10 PM.

U of the Streets is at 130 E. 7th st. and there is a $10 cover per set. check out the rest of the shows there this month!!!
