This is going to be a busy week! Kimmy Gibbler and the Evans/Elliott/Traczinsky Trio just made their triumphant returns, and now we're back in NYC. On Friday the 16th i'll be performing with the New York Trumpet Ensemble at the NY Brass confrence being held at SUNY Purchace. We perform at 8 in the main auditorium. On Saturday the 17th i'll be playing some great Rock and Roll with Pete Tufel at the Acme Underground. We go on at midnight. The weekend closes with a great show I organized at No Moore. This concert features my quartet, "Mostly Other People Do the Killing" with special guests, "the Quartet of Happiness" (featuring Kelly Roberge)from Boston. The show starts at 7, the cover is $5, and the club is at the corner of N. Moore and W. Broadway in TriBeCa (subway to Chambers st.). This weekend promises to be a lot of fun, so come on out to the shows. The meyham continues next week when I'll be performing at Queens College with Charles Evans' band "The Language Of." We'll be performing on tuesday the 20th and recording the next day.
