Rollaway

On Tuesday, May 4th, I'll be playing with Rollaway, a Southern Rock band led by Tim Roark and Peden Young at the Luna Lounge. The show starts at 8:00 PM, there's no cover, and the club is on Ludlow St. between Houston and Stanton on the lower East side. The band will be performing tunes from our CD as well as a couple of new and re-worked pieces. See you there.

Big 5 Chord

John Lundbom's Big 5 Chord will be playing this coming Tuesday, 4/27 at the Old Office at the Knitting Factory. The group includes Jon Irabagon, Jason Gillenwater, and Justin Walke. We'll be playing a set of spectacular compositions by Mr. Lundbom, so come out for a night of Jazz.

This Friday I'll be performing with Melissa Giges at American Spirits, a club on 2nd ave between 91st and 92nd. There's no cover, the bar features some great specials and we'll be performing some great music! See you there.

Upcoming Shows

This is going to be a busy week! Kimmy Gibbler and the Evans/Elliott/Traczinsky Trio just made their triumphant returns, and now we're back in NYC. On Friday the 16th i'll be performing with the New York Trumpet Ensemble at the NY Brass confrence being held at SUNY Purchace. We perform at 8 in the main auditorium. On Saturday the 17th i'll be playing some great Rock and Roll with Pete Tufel at the Acme Underground. We go on at midnight. The weekend closes with a great show I organized at No Moore. This concert features my quartet, "Mostly Other People Do the Killing" with special guests, "the Quartet of Happiness" (featuring Kelly Roberge)from Boston. The show starts at 7, the cover is $5, and the club is at the corner of N. Moore and W. Broadway in TriBeCa (subway to Chambers st.). This weekend promises to be a lot of fun, so come on out to the shows. The meyham continues next week when I'll be performing at Queens College with Charles Evans' band "The Language Of." We'll be performing on tuesday the 20th and recording the next day.
